Attorney Joanna Amberger

Joanna Amberger is an estate planning attorney and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with a rich background in both finance and law. Raised across the United States in a military household, Joanna’s diverse experiences instilled in her a passion for lifelong learning, travel, and cultural appreciation. She holds a degree in Fine Art Photography from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Hawaii, and a law degree from the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law.

In 2007, Joanna founded 3 Financial Group, an independent financial services firm that continues to thrive. Recognizing the need for comprehensive estate planning, she later established 3FG Law to provide specialized legal services. Joanna is dedicated to serving professional women and the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that their plans are up-to-date, properly funded, and reflective of their unique goals and values.

Joanna is actively involved in various organizations, including AARP Hawaii, the Rotary Club of Honolulu, and the Mediation Center of the Pacific. She also volunteers for the Hawaiian Humane Society and has held leadership positions with Planned Parenthood and AAUW.
